After an active day in the saddle, you can relax in your vacation apartment at Schlossberg, put your feet up, and recharge your batteries for the next stage. Book your apartment for your next cycling vacation!
🚲 The Paradise Route – easy and relaxing (about 1 hour)
The perfect introductory ride: gentle hills, hardly any traffic, and plenty of nature. The route leads to the Eibele Waterfalls. With an e-bike, it’s perfectly manageable even for families with children or less experienced cyclists. Ideal for your first ride after arriving or for relaxing days between mountain hikes.

🚲 Großer Alpsee – The Classic Loop (approx. 16 km, moderate)
The old Salt Road takes you directly to the Großer Alpsee near Immenstadt in about two hours. The trails are mostly well-maintained, with moderate inclines. At the lake, you can enjoy a dip in the cool water, mini-golf, boat rentals, and places to stop for a bite to eat. The return trip follows the northern route, for a total of about 36 kilometers. It’s one of the most popular tours in the region—and for good reason.

🚲 Lake Constance–Königssee Bike Path – Enjoy the Stage (51 km, fairly easy)
One of the most beautiful routes in the region: the first stage of the famous long-distance bike path, ridden in reverse. From Oberstaufen via Scheidegg, the route is mostly downhill toward Lake Constance, offering stunning views of the lake. With only 170 meters of elevation gain, it’s easily manageable even without an e-bike. Practical: Return trip by train to Oberstaufen. Insider tip: Take a break in Lochau with a view of Lake Constance.

🚲 Sulzberg Tour – Panoramic Delights (90 km, challenging)
For ambitious e-bikers and touring cyclists: This 90-kilometer loop offers panoramic views of the Bregenzerwald, the Swiss Alps, and the Nagelfluh Range. The route winds through bogs, wet meadows, and along quiet backroads. With an e-bike, it’s manageable even for casual cyclists; without one, it’s a serious day-long tour. Just under 1,000 meters of elevation gain.

🚵 Hochgrat Trail – for athletic cycling enthusiasts
If you’re looking for a real athletic challenge, you’ll find demanding mountain bike trails around the Hochgrat, featuring steep paths, tight turns, and impressive rock formations. Ride through Hittisau into the Leckner Valley and back up to the Hochgrat. Breathtaking views of the Allgäu High Alps. For experienced mountain bikers only.
