Stay Mobile Without a Car

With the Oberstaufen PLUS app, included for all guests, buses and trains throughout the Allgäu region between Friedrichshafen, Kempten, and Oberstdorf can be used free of charge. Whether you arrive by train or simply prefer to leave the car parked, you’ll remain completely flexible. This is especially convenient for grandparents who no longer wish to drive themselves.

Children love the summer toboggan run, high ropes course, and mini golf. Teenagers enjoy mountain biking and paragliding. Order separately for each apartment or as a group order. Place your order by 7:50 p.m. the day before using the online form, and breakfast will be delivered to each apartment door in the morning. No breakfast rush, no waiting.

Everyone has the flexibility to plan their vacation exactly as they wish—all within a family-friendly environment. Local public transportation is free for our guests.

What is the maximum number of guests we can accommodate?

Up to 40 guests plus infants in either of our two buildings. Up to 80 guests plus infants in both buildings combined. The largest individual apartments can accommodate 8 adults plus 2 infants.

Can we combine multiple apartments?

How far in advance should we book?

For smaller groups (2–3 apartments), 3 months’ notice is often sufficient. For medium-sized groups (4–6 apartments), we recommend 6 months. For large family gatherings (10+ apartments or full occupancy), ideally 9–12 months—especially during peak season. There is a minimum stay, depending on the season

Is there a group discount?

Weekdays are always cheaper than weekends, and the longer you stay, the cheaper it gets.

How does cancellation work for group bookings?

For group bookings with more than 3 apartments, different conditions apply than for individual bookings. Free cancellation is not possible. We will discuss the exact terms individually at the time of booking.

Can we also organize a group dinner?

We’re happy to help with reservations for activities or group dinners.

Do you have experience with international guests?

Yes, we regularly host small international family gatherings here—relatives who come together from different countries. We speak English well and a little Spanish. Please feel free to speak to us in English or German.

Are there ground-floor apartments for older family members?

We are not wheelchair-accessible, but we always find ways to ensure everyone has a wonderful vacation.

Are cribs and high chairs available?

Cribs, diaper pails, and high chairs are included.

How do guests without a car get here?

The Oberstaufen train station is a 10-minute walk away. From the station, you can explore the entire region for free using the Oberstaufen PLUS app. Ideal for older family members who no longer wish to drive themselves. The bus to the station stops right in front of the house.
